Could just as easily been a used Tesla from the Hertz fleet. None of the EVs are any safer than the other. And it’s just a matter of time before insurance premiums across the board reflect this same scenario. Obviously we need more government money thrown at the problem after Buttgagger builds another 8 charging stations. Anyone buying an EV of any brand is delusional.
When will people give their purchases with this kind of money, the research that should be done as to the COST not the Price of a high ticket item like this ? Everyone looks at the price and also they think they are doing something good for the planet.Believing lies and not thinking long term of the ramifications with these huge price tags.Guess they did get what they paid for!! HA
I’m sorry for this poor guy. As Bill Clinton said, we feel your pain. He is doing the world a service letting people know the reality of EV ownership. Beware!!!!
I have a hard time picturing a virtue signal/brag brighter than buying a Porsche EV. I guess the degree of difference between "wealthy enough to buy a Porsche EV" and "wealthy enough to self-insure a Porsche EV" is wider than I would have thought. Whine harder.
If you bought one then time to accept the issues of ownership. Good luck selling it. You got the federal money to buy it, or some fashion of a ‘discount’ on the purchase, now how does that look in light of the loss in value at resell time? You’re going to pay one way or the other. The risk is real and severe. It is, and always has been, buyer beware,
A fool and his money were lucky to be acquainted in the first place…

Just how many ways do people try to buy respect?
