Some readers of my age will recall how the word 'liberal’ became toxic in the several decades ago and was replaced by a return to the word ‘progressive’ which had previously become toxic when progressives went far too far in pursuing eugenics and other evils. So, the left absconded with the word ‘liberal’ that, theretofore, had meant policies in line with liberty. That was then largely ruined by the inane policies of Jimmy Carter and the gang he let into the White House (
One more thing: All of the Subsidies for all of the faux green green green taxpayer money grab, from Carbon Dioxide Capture and Underground Storage (don’t need it) to green Anhydrous Ammonia (don’t need it) to a Hydrogen Economy (we don’t need it) to Ethanol (been subsidizing ethanol since 1978 and now they are trying to get another subsidy in the 45Z credit! - we do not need ethanol!) are creating the biggest Transfer-of-Wealth to the “already filthy rich billionaires who also “don’t need it!” I believe those greedy billionaires and their rich buddies know that this is all further taking our National Debt to a sooner calamity that already was in play and must have an attitude that “he who grabs the most Subsidies before the crash/bankruptcy of the U.S. wins!” And they and their families will have a greater chance of (surviving) ending up on top looking good down from their palaces upon the tens-of-millions of American citizens as peasants left to serve their every need! The ultimate end-game for these ultra-wealthy is intended to further control the people where they pay far less to support our Country’s government. They believe that they all pay way too much (taxes) to support our Country and they want billions of dollars of it back no matter what it does to our economic future. Why else would they be okay contributing to the death of America? And what’s even more sad is the ultimate sacrifice made by the veterans, military and their families throughout our history and everyday still that has made it possible for these greedy rich billionaires to prosper hugely while not having to sacrafice their life in doing so. Many of them, and the Politicians they control, have conveniently forgotten the human sacrafice that has made it possible for them to live in the land of the free to prosper where liberty and freedom was made possible with the bloodshed of Brave. What happens if Chi-Na one day controls the U.S.of A.? They can kiss their wealth and material possessions goodbye! These greedy corporate-types are helping take us down that road!
Net-Zero is the resultant think-tank group of lunatics brain power (net-zero) who have dreamt up this fraudulent scheme of CO2 (Carbon) emissions causing global warming….er, climate change, when in fact CO2 emissions have helped feed and oxygenate this planet’s exponential population growth! Simple chemistry and physics negate ANY theory propagated by the Net-Zero braindead brain waves of the Anti-Fossil fuel lunatics. People - without fossil fuels we would have burned up every tree centuries ago, would not ever have become an industrialized nation and life expectancy would still be barely 40’s for men and women - just to name only a minuscule few of the benefits to humankind. Most medicines and medical advancements would not have been possible without Petroleum alone (look up the Petroleum Tree - products that come from oil and gas) whose discovery and use came many decades after coal. Why do you think Chi-Na is adding 100+ gigawatts of new coal-fired generation annually along with increasing oil consumption more than 20% per year (mostly imports)? And India is following suit as well! Two of the world’s most populated Countries comprising nearly 8X the U.S. population! They know that in order to grow their economy and better there way of life they need (1) low cost reliable energy and, (2) abundant low cost labor (much of it borderline slave labor!) and, (3) innovation and invention (much of it stolen U.S. intellectual property)! Chi-Na funds a lobbying group located in San Francisco whose mission is to lobby against ALL Fossil Fuel usage/companies in U.S. And we have idiots in D.C. and across the States that either are totally ignorant or totally do not give two 💩’s about how these Net-Zero, Zero brain knuckleheads are destroying this Country since many of them are being enriched directly or indirectly by money flowing to them from foreign interests; many of them being adversaries!
