Aside from the more serious problems with this proposed bill - just thinking about battery powered ATVs and snowmobiles, both of which are widely used in the Adirondacks, gets me a little worried. Both vehicles take us much farther than we can walk on a day hike, and a dead battery could become a matter of threatening survival. Maybe pull a diesel generator behind the BEV just in case? LOL

Sen. Peter K. Oberacker Jr. probably thinks these vehicles are a nuisance and found a self-righteous way to get rid of them in the name of saving the planet.

They need those ATV's as they are the ONLY vehicles capable of travel on NEVER FIXED I-88 NY. The Illegals need those Highway Funds so screw Rural NY. I-88 will get worse before it gets better

The left lane of I-88 westbound is closed for construction of a crossover to facilitate a pavement renewal project while keeping the interstate open for travel in both directions.
