Not going to lie. I thought there was no way that the WWF homepage looked like that pictured here. I was wrong. Simply incredible.
I was thus forced to read just a bit on the site. Not at all shocked to see the following:
- It’s not all bad news, however. “For a long time in scientific literature, we talked about tipping points as being catastrophic and how we’re just victims to them,” says Shaw. “But there are social tipping points too, which can be really positive.”
These are industrial, technological, economic, and social developments that can bring about desirable changes that help slash emissions and restore nature. Examples include the electric vehicle revolution, an uptick in renewable energy use and green financing, and people cutting their meat consumption.”-
The World Wildlife Fund has such a nice sounding title that there are probably an awful lot of people who are fooled into donating without knowing where their money is really going.
What a strange world we live in. A plumber or an electrician making $30/hr adds more value to our society than a CEO being paid $1 million dollars/yr for doing nothing.
Are all these “funds” non profits too? I just read Woke, Inc. Vivek had a couple chapters covering this ridiculous scam. Highly recommend reading Woke, Inc and Capitalist Punishment both very well written.

Green financing? As in green money? Oh, I see.

Hmm! I wonder who these "leaders" will vote for in November? And the thousands that donate money to them?

Over paid harlots!
There are times when I want to hit the “like” button more than once on an article. This is one of those times. Perhaps we need a love button.
Unfortunately your post is relevant. 🙄
