Thanks for acknowledging the fact that the electric utility industry should be the official poster child of corporate welfare. The only thing I'd add is that wouldn't be possible without regulatory capture of public utility commissions led by the "woke" National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC).

“Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done.”

Ironically, the issues being discussed are almost all rooted in money. While the currency we all carry includes the words “In God We Trust”, it’s become harder and harder to see any evidence of that as more and more individuals and organizations are becoming richer and richer from the financial incentives that are available.

The “Hunger Games” (movies and book series) which depict exploitation of rural areas to support large urban areas seems to be fiction coming to life across America.

I have no problem if a private entity or person wants to install wind or solar at their facility behind the meter. That’s at their cost, tteir risk. Must notably not mine. Then the free government money giveaway should also be removed immediately. To continue the charade that it’s for the good if anything is dishonest, immoral and downright deceitful. To help prevent this in the future we need to remove lobbyists spending or giving any money to politicians or other NGO’s. The back pocket money the politicians are getting is egregious. Also limited should be the gifts or any other benefit to politicians. And remove the non profit status of all these organizations. Essentially these are organized crime made legal by the recipients of benefits handed out all at the expense of citizens. We would quickly see the charade of how wind and solar and batteries are cheaper power than coal and natural gas. Grifters be damned, we should flush every one of them from the government welfare grift.

Nut cracking time! The GOP leader of the Senate backing the IRA, with the aid of trillions of dollars of well funded ENGO's, versus Trump, Chris Wright, Doug Burgum and the EPA Head? Time for grabbing popcorn if it wasn't the destruction of our grids at stake.
