I looked at the JHA website. I was encouraged to see this company works on solar and wind projects.
I have come to see photovoltaic power and wind power as the primary, abundant, domestic, fuel-cost-free source of energy we should develop. A fuel that arrives at the generator, all by itself, and for free! What a concept!
I used to argue that the energy in the chemical bonds of hydrocarbons made them hard to beat as an energy source and that should make them the primary source of energy. The energy content of the chemical bonds is still there, but I now see combustion of hydrocarbons in the role of a secondary source.
I support nuclear energy, too, but developing new nuclear projects has been so hobbled that I have quit thinking we can actually get any new nuclear power. I hope the regulators and suppliers can prove me wrong by moving fast enough to make new nuclear a thing. The government money going to support nuclear energy has no immediate payoff in the form of electricity now.
It is out of my control, of course, but taking away tax breaks for new solar and batteries is wounding the only new sources of electricity being built. Seems like a bad idea to me.
Thank you again MR Shepstone. Our group wrote to many Freedom Caucus members yesterday and will continue today.WE want the green new scam eliminated completely. It allows more taxes and destroys the earth in so many many costly ways.
