You are too kind to call these so-called journalists "narrators". That almost sounds innocuous.

They are really propagandists. They have a defined message that they need to promote, and certainly nothing as banal as the facts are going to stop them. The ends justify the means in their minds.

The problem for them is that, thanks to Twitter, Substack, podcasts, etc., their pseudo-monopoly on information has been broken. And propaganda is only effective to the extent that the truth can remain concealed.

The tragic problem is continually referring to the MSM as journalists; they are pseudo journalists who write opinion pieces containing half truths IFF (If and only if) they support an official narrative.
