To me the biggest turning point was covid. I started reading and listening to all sides of the argument.
I somehow knew something was wrong before this but the covid junk crystallised my scepticism of MSM. The reasons the "scientists" put forward didn't make sense! I now feel a whole lot better and things do make more sense. It's like eyes are opened to the sheer lunacy that is green politics. The whole thing is just a money making scam. In fact the green is the greenbacks that are generated for the already very wealthy.
The more and more you investigate there comes a realisation that joe public is being fleeced to pay for energy multiple times - after all you need a gas power plant to work when the wind doesn't blow / sun doesn't shine. That means you are paying twice!
Thank you Tom and Robert! I wasn't paying much attention in the early 2000s. I remember something about British scientists and some emails proving fudged data, but then heard nothing more. Thank you first, for the reminder, and secondly, for the details - I hadn't even heard them before.
Climategate was not a PR disaster. It was the unvarnished truth. The PR disaster is that those exposed by the truth got away with their lies. The real story of Climategate is how the motivated liars and grifters worked so hard to protect the lies the climate crisis scam is built on.
