Good day Mr. Darwell, or any other knowledge person who can provide an answer.

Reading this article, a couple of questions crossed my mind.

(1) how many acres of land does a typical 300 MW solar or wind farm typically take up? Approximately how much does each cost to assemble?

What is the typical life cycle of each of these energy systems?

What are the operating costs and typical yearly maintenance costs?

The land under or around these rows of solar panels or wind turbines, what is it being used for? Does it have a purpose?

(2) how many acres of land does a typical 300 MW natural gas or coal power plant take up?

Approximately how much does each cost to assemble?

What are the operating costs and typical yearly maintenance costs?

What is the typical life cycle of each of these energy systems?

I am trying to realize in my own mind, is this the most sensible method of creating and supplying electricity into a grid - powering our cities and towns and everything in between.

We know we cannot live without electricity. Are we being Energy Wise?

I am looking forward to discussing this with anyone interested, as I am.
