Good news for Canada. Kitimat looks like it's in the middle of nowhere, but this sure puts it on the map. This wouldn't be happening, at least not this soon, if the US had not foolishly stopped the Keystone pipeline. Interesting geography lesson, too - I hadn't been thinking about BC's coast being shortest route to China, (and Russia) although I should have, being well-versed in the history of the sea otter trade.

Hopefully the news reaches Prime Minister Trudeau, as he has told German Chancellor Scholz that the business case for LNG was "weak".
