I worked for BP for 10 years in Alaska when they were an oil company and a really good one. I "retired" from in 2009 and went to work in Denmark. I watched BP go "green" and knew they were going to lose billions. The did lose billions, and I am so glad that they are dumping these turkey projects. These turkey projects make no sense with a new administration taking over.

BP was a major funder of Climate research, in an attempt to please the billionaire shareholders who required ESG. Now that the billionaires like Larry Fink are tired of ESG, no need to please their previous tastes. The shutoff of free money by the US and British central banks also helps to eliminate crazy projects that don't contribute to real business.

Stop the subsidies for charging and they won’t waste resources on it either. Seems BP management is much brighter than the British government…
