I don’t believe Kamala Harris learned anything even with it displayed in fact ,

The moniker’shake’ has taken hold as well as ‘unconventional’; but the activity is technically not targeting shale. It’s the calcareous mudstones ad fine grained tight (low permeability) clastic sediments (mud rocks) within organic shales that are thermally mature from a geochemical perspective. These may be source beds for the reservoirs we’ve developed for decades. Coincident with accessing the mud rocks was the development of horizontal drilling and steering wells. At the same time severe changes to hydraulic fracturing (fracing) techniques advanced at a breakneck rapid pace. Note there is no k in fracing, except for the engineering notation for permeability. So what’s referred to as the shake revolution is really a coincident development of technology and techniques of drilling, geology, geosteerong, well completion, chemistry, geomechanics, and the software for design and operation of these technical expertise areas. This has not been a gradual change but a rapid explosion of ideas and engineering and geology applied to challenging reservoirs. It’s a testament to the capability and tenacity of the USA oil ad gas industry.

Energy is life! Shale is great, but now we need nuclear!
