Regarding BEVs, isn’t the real action at the state level? Hasn’t both California and New York already outlawed ICE vehicles with a phaseout to occur over the next 10 years? Is there anything the federal government could do about that, even if they wanted to? Or perhaps it’s just better to let the bans go ahead and, as the consequences unfold, serve as a bad example?
