While electrify everything sounds convenient, it is wholly impractical and uneconomic.

We have a growing demand for electricity for residential use and commercia/industrial use. This growth is stretching the grid's ability to deliver. When we mix in the so called renewables (and they are not) with their non persistent delivery we have an increase of risk that is unacceptable.

The zealots opine the wind and solar are green, but the truth is they are far from green and are natural resource consumption on steroids. More rational thinking nad more mature analysis needs to dominate the regulatory agencies. The grid managers have a duty to the society to do a better job of managing the risk and containing the cost to consumers. Large use facilities should build their own generation capacity to feed their operation and the regulatory bodies should enable this to happen. A return to common sense is certainly in order. Reality drives this.

OIL RESERVES

The majority of the world’s products and transportation fuels are made from oil.

The country that controls the oil reserves controls the world.

The USA and China, the two largest economies in the world, are at the BOTTOM of the list.
