If you caught my comment on Energy Bad Boys piece on a similar subject posted on Saturday, you would find they are are also up to other illegal activities.
Leaving people without heat by rationing, or pricing them out of fuel is the lowest form of criminal. It's not like the electricity they want them to use (and don't ration) is cheaper. There is axrwason these folks use oil or natural gas to begin with. Electric is nearly always the most expensive option that far North, even with a heat pump.
Hocal must be studying Putan and his bombing of Ukraine's energy infrastructure in order to freeze them out.
The Hochul admin is in complete cahoots with big solar corporations that are handing out donations to politicians and judges like there's no tomorrow, a reality that's already felt and may actually come to fruition long term for all the small towns, rural communities and forests/habitat that are getting pummeled by these "green" initiatives that are anything but. The only entities benefitting and prospering from these industrial scale solar wasteland projects that are decimating NY State's breadbasket communities are corporations, shareholders, politicians and judges. And, with companies like the Hudson Valley / Catskills' Canadian owned Central Hudson already extorting, price gouging and robbing a populace across several counties that have been abandoned by Albany, we can expect a grander scale crisis that sends consumers into an oblivion of endless debt with homes they can't afford to heat or power. The whole situation is unnecessary, avoidable, careless and reckless. Not only does it destroy the environment but it plunges greater NY into a deepening poverty.
Want to pay $.50 more per gallon under Cap, Tax and Spend? Come to Wa. State US. Billions stole from us, we never voted to implement it. Dems implemented it.
This is what happens when ignorant policymakers actually buy into the myth of "cheap green energy". Support will crater quickly once reality hits people's pocket books.
They're not ignorant by any means. They know exactly what they're doing. It's solely about profit and self gain. They do not care about anyone outside of NYC where the votes are.
Will be interesting in the winter when people run out of heat or they keep temperatures so low that their pipes freeze and then you get massive, regular water damage claims from 10s of thousands of homes and the insurance companies pull out or rates go through the roof.
This is already happening across the Hudson Valley / Catskills region. Look up all the lawsuits, complaints, price gouging, extortion and general shadow work involving the Canadian owned Central Hudson over the past 5 years. They've plunged several counties into a deepening crisis that has been completely ignored and quietly swept under the carpet. This is what awaits every consumer outside of the NYC bubble.

Fabulous comment!
History repeating itself and obviously the leaders didn’t study history well enough to avoid the consequences of the past.

New York is trying to catch up to California. One thing is the difference kind of weather. Let’s see New York go without heat in the winter.

The Washington stare of communism.
It is so sad to see what's happened to Washington State.
