For nearly 70 years fusion energy has been just a few years away. Grandchildren of the original fusion careerists are very likely working in the same never ending, always funding quest. The fusion research industry, until the last few years, was deliberately deceiving the world about how paltry the yield of their brobdigandian do nothing machines really are. A 70 year quest for a holy grail. It might as well have been research for a Philosopher's Stone. Now, with the climate fear industry needing a new holy grail to continue its grift, fusion and climate fear can join forces to keep their con alive.

Oh, boy. To say that I'm skeptical of fusion ever being a feasible solution to our energy needs would be the understatement of the year. Even my lowly bachelor's degree in physics is enough to let me see that this is nonsense. I'm amazed at the amount of money being poured into this pipe dream.
