A great friend, as he is in the habit of doing, sent me a link to this MSN story this morning, knowing it would inflame my passions. He’s in Africa and apparently saw the piece on one of the sites he peruses while over there.
It's the usual climate claptrap and because MSN makes it difficult to quote sections of text from their stories via copy and paste, I did a search to find out where else the story might appear. It turns out it’s not much of anywhere except on MSN, here and a Ugandan media entity called New Vision with which the second listed outfit is associated. And, you cannot directly copy and paste from it either. How strange!
The article, which reads like a U.N. or WEF public relations release, was written by a fellow named Andrew Bakoraho Kakura. He is listed, in fact, as a New Vision journalist. New Vision is a media site that is part of the New Vision Group, a rather eye-opening organization if you can believe anything in Wikipedia. Curiously, Kakura is also identified as follows at the end of his story:
The writer is a Pan-Africanist Researcher and Executive Director, Safety Watch Initiatives Africa (Sawa).
What could this organization be? That is always my first thought when exploring relationships among and with groups having vague mushy names. So, I searched the internet using DuckDuckGo, which is my normal browser, as I don't trust Google for anything. Google is simply an evil company in my humble opinion. All I got were the same three links to the article mentioned above. So, I reluctantly tried Google. This time I only got two of the three links! Curiouser and curiouser…
I then decided to try Perplexity, an AI app my son recommended. The first response, which must never be accepted by itself when dealing with AI or bureaucrats, was this:
Safety Watch Initiatives Africa (Sawa) is an organization mentioned in the context of overcoming Western-climate hypocrisy in Africa. The Executive Director of this organization is involved in addressing climate-related issues in the region, as highlighted in the provided sources.
This, of course, was only what could be learned from Google so, at the suggestion of Perplaxity, I asked “What are some of the initiatives taken by Safety Watch Initiatives Africa?” and got the following revelation (emphasis added):
Some of the initiatives taken by Safety Watch Initiatives Africa include efforts to address Western-climate hypocrisy in Africa, as well as involvement in enhancing online safety in the region through initiatives like the Africa Online Safety Fund. Additionally, the organization is actively engaged in mitigating biological threats in Africa through the Signature Initiative to Mitigate Biological Threats in Africa (SIMBA).
We learn, in other words, that Safety Watch Initiatives Africa is a censorship enterprise, no doubt designed to deliver disinformation in the guise of protecting Africans from disinformation. Such disinformation would presumably include precisely what Mr. Kakura delivered in his climate claptrap article.
I proceeded to ask a further question about “Who funds Safety Watch Initiatives Africa?" and got this paydirt:
The Safety Watch Initiatives Africa (Sawa) receives funding from various sources to support its initiatives. For instance, the organization has received a $1 million grant from Google.org to enhance online safety in Africa through the Africa Online Safety Fund. Additionally, the organization is involved in addressing issues related to oil and gas exploration and production in Africa, which may also contribute to its funding.
Now, we see much more of the picture. Most likely, Google had fewer links about Safety Watch Initiatives Africa because it's part of it and doesn't want its role known!
Again, Google, in my view, is evil. They are part and parcel of the sick Censorship Industrial Complex (CIC) that is spewing the climate claptrap and wants to shut down free voices challenging it.
Google was also part of the Big Green Grift itself, receiving major government help with its ridiculous bird frying and turtle baking Ivanpah solar project that only proved the need for natural gas. And, the CIC complex is also being used by the Biden Administration, through our corrupt CIA and FBI, to censor all of us for its own special interests.
How do you fight CIC special interests? By following and supporting independent samizdat sources such as this and many others. Please do so!
