This doesn’t pass the smell test: “ with EIA saying that the increased demand from colder weather essentially will be balanced out by lower prices, on average, across the nation.” Not sure what’s up with EIA saying prices are down but that reeks of pandering to the administration and ignoring the facts. While have just experienced a mild year weather wise, the increase in electricity and liquid heating oil, and natural gas prices. Utilities are not lowering prices. The government agencies need to be evaluated for dead wood and waste. We don’t need just a change in energy policy and dept heads, but also a deep dive removing incompetent staffers.
